Coldwell Banker Hulsey agents donate
Every year the agents at Coldwell Banker Hulsey Real Estate get together and decide what they want to do “special” for someone local during the holiday season.
Mary Gilliam said her niece Dawn Phillips worked with a lot of needy groups – so she gave her a call to see if she had any suggestions. She told her that each year the Missouri Children’s Division hosts a Christmas dinner for the foster children and foster parents in a four county area. They have a nice dinner for the families and also buy a gift for each child. There are currently more than 200 children in this program.
The agents decided that this was going to be their project. Throughout the year they have casual Friday’s and pay to wear blue jeans . They also held a White Elephant Auction at their office.
On Dec. 1, they presented the Missouri Children’s Division with a check for $1000 to use toward the festivities.
They are already on to their next challenge – a canned food drive. They hope to have more than 500 cans to donate the local food pantry in the next 15 days.
