FARMINGTON — A woman who was just placed on probation in April is going to prison.
On Thursday, Circuit Court Judge Kenneth W. Pratte sentenced Brittany Renee Cheesebrough, 27, of Park Hills, to seven years in prison for violating the probation she received for forgery. She admitted to violating three conditions of her probation.
According to court records, in March of 2008, she stole a debit card from her grandparents and made $5,600 worth of purchases. Among the charges was a rental car, which she rented for a couple months and she and her boyfriend wrecked.
In 2008, she was sentenced to four years in prison for possession of a controlled substance and for violating the probation she received for passing bad checks.
