Minnie A. Blum
WILBUR, NEBRASKA — Minnie A. Blum, 81, of Wilber, Nebraska formerly of Farmington, passed away on December 3, 2009 at the Wilber Care Center. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, December 18,2009 at Washita Baptist Church (473 Highway AA). The service will begin at noon with Pastor Kevin Miller officiating. A private burial will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wilber Care Center, 611 North Main Street, Wilber, NE 68465.
Minnie was born on November 15, 1927 in Parma, Missouri to Martin and Zelma (Hull) Lemmink. Her life reflected her love of God, her pride and dedication to her family, and her commitment to her work. She retired from Southeast Missouri Mental Health CenterCTC as an LPN in 1989. While living in the Farmington area, she was an active member of Washita Baptist Church. Those she leaves behind will remember her with love and admiration and will greatly miss her good nature and quick wit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, first husband Louis F. Blum, II in 1986, son David Blum (Richard Spangler) in 1988, and son Louis F. Blum, III in 2006.
Minnie leaves behind her husband, Francis (Frank) Winston of Wilber, NE, children, Michael Blum & wife, Diane of Russellville, KY and Cindy Pulliam & husband, Harry of Wilber, NE; grandchildren, Rich Spangler, Dewayne (Veronica) Spangler, Laura (Joe) Kile, Todd (Melissa) Blum, Brian (Halyna) Blum, Carli Blum, Nick Blum, Mike (Daisy) Pulliam; and nine great-grandchildren.
