Man kicked out of drug court gets prison for selling drugs

FARMINGTON — A man who was kicked out of the St. Francois County Drug Court program was sentenced to 15 years in prison Friday.

Circuit Court Judge Kenneth W. Pratte recently sentenced Joshua J. Crump, 31, of Bonne Terre, to 15 years in prison for sale of a controlled substance.

Crump had been ordered to complete drug court after being arrested for selling controlled substances to an undercover Mineral Area Drug Task Force officer on three separate occasions. One of the purchases was for heroin.

In other cases, Jedadiah Phelps, 30, of Doe Run, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for three counts of sale of marijuana. The judge will consider placing Phelps on five years of supervised probation if he completes a 120-day drug treatment program.

JC Bryant III, 21, an inmate at ERDCC in Bonne Terre, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for committing violence against a Department of Corrections employee. Two other charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

Frank Stockton, 39, of Farmington, was sentenced to eight years in prison for driving while intoxicated, failure to register as a sex offender and for violating the probation he was on for driving while intoxicated.

According to court records, Stockton was arrested on June 8 for driving while intoxicated on Maple Street in Farmington. At the time, he was on probation for another DWI that occurred in June of 2007. He had two previous DWI convictions.

In the other case, Stockton failed to register as a sex offender in August. Stockton was convicted of statutory rape in Stone County in February.

Crystal Sansoucie, 29, of Cadet, was sentenced to four years in prison for violating the probation she received for passing a bad check.

Brandi Louise Jackson, 30, of Park Hills, was sentenced to four years in prison for violating the probation she received for possession of a meth precursor drug. The judge will consider releasing her on a new term of probation after she completes a 120-day drug treatment program.

Jeffery D. Miller, 29, of Farmington, was ordered to complete the St. Francois County Drug Court program for driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender.

Stacey S. Clark, 43, of Farmington, was ordered to complete the same program for driving while intoxicated as a chronic offender.

Placed on five years of supervised probation were Thomas L. Craig, 37, of Bonne Terre, for two counts of second-degree burglary; Richard C. Ryder, 33, of St. Louis, for failure to pay child support; Charles Fisher, 22, of Ste. Genevieve, for failure to pay child support; Justin I. Berger, 29, of Farmington, for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a vehicle accident; Michael Halim, 41, of Farmington, for possession of a controlled substance; David W. Crump, 24, of Farmington, for two counts of passing a bad check.

Circuit Court Judge Sandy Martinez sentenced Christopher Reibe, 29, of French Village, to four years in prison for resisting arrest.
