Evening Under the Stars postponed

The Bonne Terre Eagles’ Evening Under the Stars to benefit the BackStoppers organization has been postponed.

David Pratte, president of the St. Francois County chapter of BackStoppers, said the event will be held on Feb. 20 at the same time and place. It had been scheduled for Feb. 13 but organizers changed the date partly because of the forecasted winter weather.

There will be a magic show at 4:45 p.m., a Chinese auction at 5:15 p.m. and live music by Ambush from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the Bonne Terre Eagles. Tickets are $5 per person. The event is open to the public.

BackStoppers provides financial assistance to families of police, firefighters, and ambulance personnel killed in the line of duty.
