Carla Rutledge
BONNE TERRE — Carla (Huskey) Rutledge, 39, of Bonne Terre passed away February 21, 2010, at Parkland Health Center. She was born December 9, 1970, at Festus.
Carla was very active in Church of the Nazarene, Park Hills; a member of Pink Ladies Relay for Life Team; and taught special education at De Soto Public Schools (Little Dragon Center).
She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Stewart.
She is survived by: Husband, Tyson Rutledge; Children, Cole and Easton Rutledge; parents, Robert and Charlene (Lucas) Huskey; sisters and brothers, Mike (Anita) Huskey, Terri (Mike) Carrow, Nancy (Terry) Basler-Cole, Tim (Angel) Huskey, and Dennis (Kris) Huskey; father-in-law and stepmother-in-law, Glen and Ethel Rutledge; mother-in-law, Judy Rutledge; sisters-in-law, Ashley Rutledge and Kristie (Dean) Blain; brother-in-law, George Stewart. Several nieces, nephews and friends and relatives also survive.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Noel Nelson and Rev. Keith Vawter officiating. Interment at St. Francois Memorial Park. A luncheon will be held at the Gospel Light Free Will Baptist Church, Bonne Terre, following commital service. Memorials may be directed to the Carla Rutledge Trust Fund c/o First State Community Bank.
