Stephen Rokiski
PARK HILLS — Stephen Rokiski, 98, of Farmington passed away March 27, 2010, at Presbyterian Manor. He was born August 16, 1911, at Madison County, Ill. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Bismarck; and a member of the Knights of Columbus for more than 25 years.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Ignatz and Mary (Laskowski) Rokiski; first-wife, Eunice Kasting; second-wife, Isabel Harreck; daughter, Lea Ann Rokiski; brothers, Walter, Frank and Ignatius Rokiski; sisters, Rose Scanapeico, Ann Zalewski, Louise Neilsen, Agnes Schultz and Mary Weiland.
He is survived by: Son, Stephen Rokiski Jr. and wife Barbara of Park Hills; grandson, Rodney Rokiski and wife Angie of Bismarck; great-grandsons, Drew and Reece Rokiski of Bismarck; brother, James Rokiski and wife Leota of Crescentville, Ohio; and twin sister, Stephanie Rokiski of Mountain Home, Ark.
Visitation will be 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. Services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at St. Joachim Catholic Church with Father Jim French officiating. Interment at Layne Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
