City-wide garage sale

There will be a super sale going on in the city of Potosi May 1. It is the annual City Wide Garage Sale sponsored by the city and Washington County Chamber of Commerce.

No permit will be required that day to have a sale.

Those who want in on the fun are asked to register their addresses with the Independent Journal, which can be reached at 573-438-5141. Those who register and who are in town will be included on a map that will be available the morning of the sale.

Merchants are encouraged to join in with side walk sales as well.

Out of town sellers may set up free at the Potosi Lions Club Park off Highway 185 on the west edge of town.

Elks members may set up at the Elks Lodge parking lot.
