Odetta Politte

Odetta (Cheek) Politte, 86, went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2010. She was born on September 10, 1923, to the late Byron and Mary (Greer) Cheek. 

Odetta was also preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, of 57 years. 

She is survived by a daughter, Bernadette Gerken and a son, Ronald Politte. Dear grandmother of Kaylene (Robert) Warner, Gregory (Angela) Gerken, Melissa Politte, Ken Politte; great grandmother of Caitlyn Keeling, Alexis Gerken, Haleigh and Lauryn Warner, and Christian Vanderpool; sister, Gloria Hovis, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
