North County board to discuss Parkside Elementary, hiring procedures, salary schedules

BONNE TERRE — The North County school board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the administrative office on Berry Road in Bonne Terre.

The meeting is open to the public.

The board will get another update on the Parkside Elementary School building project.

The board will also talk about district hiring procedures; contracts for residency requirements for administration; a policy to govern local purchasing; adjustment to certified salary schedule; options for movement on classified salary schedule; and Intermediate School roofing project.

They will also hear reports on drafts for new performance-based staff evaluations; and curriculum objectives for the last year.
