Park Hills man dies in accident

A Park Hills man died Monday when he suffered a medical condition and his 1986 Ford Ranger struck a tree in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Milton A. Barlow was northbound on Route B at 9:48 p.m. when his vehicle went off the left side of the road. The right fender of the vehicle struck a tree. He was taken by ambulance to Parkland Health Center, where he died.

Damage to the Ford was listed as moderate.

A Potosi teenager received moderate injuries Monday when her 2003 Pontiac Grand Am overturned in Washington County.

According to the Highway Patrol, Megan N. Bourbon, 19, was southbound on Missouri 185 at 11:50 p.m. when she swerved to avoid an animal. Her vehicle went off the road and overturned, .4 mile north of Pieper Road.

Bourbon was taken by ambulance to Washington County Memorial Hospital. Damage to the Grand Am was listed as total.
