Bobby Lee Shafer Sr.

Bobby Lee Shafer Sr., 51, of Silva, Missouri died August 25, 2010 at his residence.

He was born May 24, 1959 at Fredericktown, the son of Earl and Elsie (Gipson) Shafer.

On May 24, 1982 he was united in marriage to Sharon Jordon at the Christain Church of Fredericktown.

Mr. Shafer Sr. was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Shafer.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Shafer; one son, Bobby Lee Shafer Jr. of Dudley, Missouri; two daughters, Christina Nicole Clinton and Ashley Renee Callaway both of Silva, Missouri; and two brothers, Tom Shafer of Fredericktown and Richard Shafer of Caledonia, Missouri.

Mr. Shafer Sr. had nine grandchildren and enjoyed playing guitar, singing and playing dice.

Services were held August 28, 2010  at Follis and Sons Chapel with Brother Clyde Bess Sr. officiating. Burial was at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Floyd Andrews Jr. Gene Gipson, Ben Andrews, Josh Shafer, Richard Wayne Shafer Jr. and Harlan Gipson.
