Glenda Ruth Halpin

Glenda Ruth Halpin, 53, of Fredericktown died August 24, 2010 at St. Louis.

She was born August 27, 1956 at the Captains Creek Community, a  the dauhgter of Matthew Charles and Nellie Marie (Adams) King.

On May 8, 1977 she was united in marriage to Edwrd “Pete” Halpin at Captains Creek.

Mrs. Halpin was preceded in death by her parents; grandsons Lindell Halpin and Matthew Halpin; brother, Herbert Lindell King; sister, Dottie Francis

She is survived by her husband Pete Halpin; Three sons, Lindell Shane Halpin, Robert Halpin,  and Dusty Halpin all of Fredericktown; Three brothers, Junior Charles King of Fredericktown, Richard Daniel King of California and Matthew Dale King of Park Hills; Five  sisters, Mildred June Adams of Illinois, Lois Ann Tinnin of Arizona, Loretta Joyce Tinsley of Fredericktown, Betty Marie Stafford of Fredericktown and Judy Orrick of Fredericktown.

She had 18 grandchildren. Mrs. Halpin was a member of Captains Creek General Baptist Church and enjoyed reading,gardening, family and her grandkids.

Services were held August 28, 2010 at Follis and Sons Chapel with Brother Clyde Bess Sr. officiating. Burial was at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
