Proposed biomass energy plant
At a recent Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce meeting, Jim Scaggs and Bryan Parker spoke about their efforts to bring a biofuel power plant to the Viburnum area.
The Viburnum Economic Development Area Corporation has been awarded a $50,000 grant to conduct a feasibility study on the plant.
The plant would turn local waste wood products into useable power.
