Accident injures three

Three people were injured in a vehicle accident Friday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Johanna Gudermuth, 28, of Leadwood, received moderate injuries and was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center for treatment. Adam Moore, 32, of Leadwood, and Janet Canter, 71, of Irondale, received minor injuries and were taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center.

Reports indicate Canter was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger at Route BB and Route U and failed to yield to Gudermuth by turning left into Gudermuth’s 2001 Pontiac Sunfire.

The accident was reported at 12:17 p.m.
