Potosi scores five in second, but lose on walk-off hit
FREDERICKTOWN — The Potosi softball team struck for five runs during the second inning, but Fredericktown capitalized on five walks and rallied for a 6-5 victory following a walk-off single in the seventh.
Megan Osbahr finished 2-for-4 including a two-run single, and recorded three strikeouts in the complete-game loss.
Brittney Bourbon and Paige Coleman also collected two hits apiece, and Takiesha Cluck doubled for the Lady Trojans.
Fredericktown could move into a tie for third place in the MAAA Conference standings with a victory today at North County.
