Central prepares for homecoming

PARK HILLS — The Central Rebels (1-2, 2-3) will host the Hillsboro Hawks (1-1, 3-2)  Friday night for homecoming. The game will kickoff at 7 p.m. while the coronation will be held prior  at 6:15 p.m. 

The homecoming parade will get under way at 2 p.m. The lineup will start at 1 p.m., no later than 1:30 p.m. The theme of homecoming this year is “Board Games.” The parade will start off at the intersection of E. Main Street and St. Francois Street. From there it will proceed down E. Main Street to the high school. Late entries can contact Jennifer Huff at jhuff@centralr3.org.

Students at the high school are celebrating spirit week this week. On Monday students wore pajamas to schools, while on Tuesday they wore jerseys and hats. Today they dressed as twins or in mismatched clothing. Thursday is celebrity or teacher day and Friday is red, white and blue day.
