Frances V. Greene

FARMINGTON — Frances V. “Frankie” Greene, also known as the “Candy Lady,” 89, of Farmington, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington.

She was born December 25, 1920, in Bonne Terre, MO, daughter of the late Fred B. Greene and Amelia A. (Meyer) Greene.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold G. Greene, and Ralph E. Greene, and one sister, Margie (Mrs. Jesse) Gibson. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Doris Greene, one sister Selma (Mrs. Darwood) Thurman, two special nieces, Julie Greene and Mary Ann Dunlap, along with other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Before her retirement, she worked at Farmington Sate Hospital as a Psych Aide 2.

Memorials may be made to Presbyterian Hospice.

There will be no visitation or services.
