POTOSI — Iron County Sheriff Allen Mathes, 54, of Ironton passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010.
Survivors: Wife, Barbara Mathes; parents, Verlon and Mary Mathes; daughter, Jennifer Hogan (Daniel); sisters, Linda Foster (Danny), Robin Harper, Patricia Gann (David), and Cindy Mathes; brother, Brent (Angel) Mathes; and grandchildren, Jacob and Hunter Hogan.
Visitation, 3 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2010, at Ironton First Baptist Church. Visitation resumes Tuesday, 9-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment, Ironton Masonic Cemetery.
