Virginia Meyers
BONNE TERRE — Virginia Meyers, 77, of Bonne Terre passed away October 13, 2010 at her residence. She was born January 5, 1933 in Bonne Terre. She was a member of the Marvin Chapel Methodist Church and worked the election polls for numerous years at the Patterson precinct.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Calvin Snyder and Mary (Rollins) Snyder Agnew; husband, William M. “Dub” Meyers; brother, Calvin Snyder.
Virginia is survived by two sons, William C. Meyers and wife Nancy of Bentonville, AR and John E. Meyers and wife Ellen of Bonne Terre; five grandchildren, Kristen Meyers, Cody Meyers, Bill Meyers, Lauren Meyers and Sarah Meyers; aunt, Joyce Nance; two nephews, Randy Snyder and Dennis Meyers.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Willard Bud Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Marvin Chapel Cemetery.
