Park Hills man seriously hurt in Friday morning accident

A Park Hills man was seriously injured in an accident on Route D Friday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Robert Q. Ache, 28, was transported by Air Evac to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center.

Reports indicate he was driving a 1995 Chevrolet van south on Route D near Hazel Run Road when it went off the roadway and he overcorrected. The vehicle then went off the roadway and overturned.

The accident was reported at 7 a.m. He was not wearing a seat belt.

A Farmington woman received minor injuries in an accident Thursday afternoon.

According to the patrol, Brittany A. Lawson, 23, was taken to Parkland Health Center.

Reports indicate she was driving a 1993 Cadillac Deville when she attempted to cross Route BB from Old Irondale Road and was struck by a 1996 Dodge Ram driven by Ricky Moore, 44, of Irondale.

The accident was reported at 3:10 p.m. She was not wearing a seat belt.

A Farmington woman and her Bonne Terre passenger were injured in an accident on Cedar Run Road Tuesday night.

According to the patrol, Katherine R. Roark, 31, was seriously injured and taken by Arch to St. John’s. Melvin Scherer, 46, was moderately injured and taken to Parkland Health Center.

Patrol reports indicate Roark was driving a 1997 GMC Yukon west on Cedar Run when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.

The accident was reported at 11:35 p.m. Neither were wearing seat belts.
