Alton White
Alton White, 76, of Fredericktown, Missouri, died December 9, 2010 at the Southbrook Manor in Farmington, Missouri.
He was born December 3, 1934, in Corinth, Mississippi, a son of William Clarence and Fannie (Samples) White.
On July 7, 2009, in Jacksonville, Tennessee, he was united in marriage to Ruby (Fitzgerald) White, who survives in Fredericktown. Other survivors include: three sons, Randy White of Desloge, Missouri, Tim White of Festus, and Kevin White of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Tina Dugan of Festus; step-children Wayne Baker of St. Louis, Marsha Thebeau, Sherry Ward, Terry Grendziak, Lora Stockman, all of Fredericktown, and Sharline Sansocie of Park Hills; 16 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harmon White and grandson, Christopher Blake White.
He enjoyed playing music, singing, hunting and fishing. Music was his favorite.
He was a member of Corner Stone Pentecostal Church in Fredericktown. His family and friends will sadly miss him. Services were held December 12, 2010 at Wilson Funeral Home, with Brother Eddie Spain officiating. Burial was at Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery in Fredericktown.
Pallbearers were sons: Randy, Kevin and Tim White, Harry Dugan, Nathan White and Cole White.
