Raiders salvage two matches against Dragons

STE. GENEVIEVE — The North County wrestling team spotted the Ste. Genevieve Dragons 30 points with their five open weight slots in Tuesday’s meet.

Only Eric Decker at 160 pounds and Eric Erchein at 189 were able to collect points for the Raiders. Decker won his match with a fall in 2:31 and Erchein recorded his fall in 2:41.

Ste. Genevieve won for matches by fall and three by major decision.

North County’s next meet will be at the Ft. Zumwalt East Tournament on Saturday. Ste. Genevieve will participate in the Cape Classic on Friday in Cape Girardeau.
