Rebels 19-point run ensures win over Blackcats

HERCULANEUM — The Central Rebels fell behind 5-0 to start Tuesday’s game against the Herculaneum Blackcats, but they scored the next 19 points traversing into the second quarter with the run.

Zac Cunningham was top scorer for the Rebels with 16 points and Tanner Skaggs was not far behind with 15. Donovan Jones scored 11 points even though he played only about nine minutes of the game due to foul trouble.

Luke Baker was the three-point specialist for the Rebels with two threes and eight points in the game.

Central (5-2) will be at home on Friday in a game with Hillsboro.
