Knightettes tame Bearcats early

DEXTER — The Farmington Knightettes led 20-9 after the first quarter of play against Dexter, and from there they cruised on in for a 56-41 win even though the Lady Bearcats  made a solid comeback attempt in the third quarter. 

Rachel Williams scored 22 point for high-game honors, and Morgan Ankrom was not far behind with 20 points. Ankrom led the team in rebounds with 13. Brittany Gladbach scored eight points, Jessica Hicks had four and Erin Littrell finished with two. Hicks led the team in steals with six.

Farmington (6-3) will host Fredericktown this evening.
