George Sanford Porter

FARMINGTON — George Sanford Porter,  68,  of Farmington passed away on January 10, 2011. Survived by wife,  Rita Marie Porter,  son,  David Sanford Porter (Kristine),  grandchildren,  Tony,  Richard,  Rusty and Sandra,  eleven great-grandchildren,  sister,  Charlotte Mohr (Mrs. Monroe) Miller,  brother-in-law and sister-in-law,  Frank and Betty Phelps,  many nieces,  nephews and friends.

Visitation today and Friday at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m.  A funeral service will at the Cozean Chapel at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 15.  Interment will follow at Genevieve Baptist Church Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family to help defray costs of his last expenses.  View Tribute Video and share your condolences and memories at cozean.biz.
