Two injured in accident

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, two ATVs were involved in a crash at approximately 5:40 p.m., Feb. 12, along Madison County Road 415, ten miles southwest of Fredericktown.

Daren R. McFarland, 44, of Arnold,Missouri was driving a Roptaz ATV when his vehicle struck a 2000 Yamaha ATV driven by Joe Hobbs, 61, of Imperial, Missouri. Both vehicles ran off the right side of the road and struck an embankment. McFarland suffered serious injuries and was transported to Barnes- Jewish Hospital by Air-Evac. Hobbs suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown, according to the report.

Neither driver had any insurance listed. Both vehicles had extensive damage and were removed by friends.
