He then went on to audition for and achieve membership in the Missouri All-State Band in 2009, 2010, and 2011. He also was a member of this year’s Missouri All-State Choir.
Additional honor bands that Bauche achieved membership in include MAAA Honors band (4 years) and the East Central Missouri All-District Jazz Band (3 years). Bauche began studying percussion with Mr. Ron Farrow, Lincoln Intermediate School music instructor, in fourth grade. He has continued his studies with Mr. Michael Farris, Ladue School District, and Ms. Erin Elstner at Webster University. At FHS, Bauche is a four year member of the Black Knight Marching Band, serving as section leader the past two years.
He is a member of the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Lab Band, Jazz Ensemble, A Cappella Choir, Choraliers, Pit Orchestra, Student Council, and was selected to attend Missouri Boys State in the summer of 2010. He is a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church Chancel Choir and Bell Choir. Bauche was the recipient of the Farmington Elks Teen of the Month for January 2011.
After completing undergradutate school, Bauche anticipates attending graduate school or seeking a position in a military band.
