Cats excel at weight meet

The Fredericktown Wt Lifting team had another successful meet at Kingston last Saturday.

Both the Junior and Senior division took home championship trophies.

Medal winners were as follows:

Logan Thomas:  1 gold, 2 silver

Zack Proffer: 2 golds, 1 silver and a meet record of 395 pounds on deadlift (with a body weight of 136!)  Zach, a sophomore, also volunteered to lift in the senior division to help with team points.

James Tripp: 2 silver, 1 bronze

Reed Jensen: 1 silver

Jon O’Neal: 1 gold, 1 bronze

Alex Wade: 1 silver

Cody Sullivan: 1 silver, 2 bronze

Wyatt Walters: 1 gold, 2 bronze

Adam Ballew: 2 silver, 1 bronze

Randy Heady: 2 gold, 1 silver and a new meet record of 505 pounds in the deadlift, and then came back to FHS to win Sweetheart King!

Chris Filley: 1 gold, 2 silver

Jake Korokis: 1 silver, 1 bronze

Collin Tesson: 2 bronze

Seth Firebaugh: 1 silver

Austin Smith: 3 gold and a new meet record of 485 on deadlift

Dakota Dowd: 1 silver

Brandon Watson: 1 gold, 2 silver

Joey Vinyard: 1 bronze

Steven Settle: 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze

Spencer Gipson: 1 gold, 1 bronze
