Thomas Doty
IRONDALE — Thomas Doty, age 62, of Irondale, Missouri passed away February 28, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, Missouri. He was born October 25, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Along with his father, he owned and operated an auto repair shop in Frankclay. He retired from John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis as a pipefitter. Thomas was a very proud father and grandfather.
He was preceded by his father, Melvin Earl Doty and one daughter.
Thomas is survived by his mother Norma Lee (Maloney) Doty of Frankclay; two sons, Scott Phillip Doty and wife Sandy of Farmington, Faron Thomas Doty and wife Christy of Farmington; daughter, Krista Danielle Kennon and husband Gralyn of Park Hills; five grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth and Abigail Clara, Megan Elise and Shane Michael, Anthony Alexander Kennon; brother, Richard Doty & wife Faye; sisters, Sheila Culton and husband Kevin, Kelley Trotter and husband James; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Rev. Kendall Hughes officiating. Interment is in Adams Cemetery in Frankclay.
