Community gives Seniors a Valentines Day to remember
Valentines Day was around the corner and Community Manor Activity Director Claire Wroblewski got on the horn and called in the troops…..
“St. Francois County is the most generous community I’ve ever experienced. When it comes to helping out our seniors….. I say jump and they say, how high. I have so much appreciation for these good people.” said Wroblewski.
Soon Community Manor’s Valentine Day celebration promised to be the best ever with ‘New Image’ of Farmington coming in the morning to pamper the women with beauty makeovers and a rose, individual volunteers decorating the facility and making gifts for all staff,
Avenue Express located in the Factory donating wonderful treats for all and Sheriff Dan and his Deputies performing country and blue grass music for the Community Manor residents to dance and clap to.
Community Manor residents Mikael Aligood and Ruby Stiles were voted Valentine Day King and Queen with Connie Pirtle and Glenda Neire in their court.
“This was so much fun!” exclaimed Ruby Stiles, “You’re never to old for a little music and romance. I’m really proud of all of our friends in our community that made today possible. Thank you so much!”
