Local chosen as finalist for pageant
Miss Daryann Paige Whitener, age 10, has been chosen as a State Finalist in the National American Miss Missouri state pageant to be held June 24-25, 2011 at the beautiful Holiday Inn Select Executive Center in Columbia,MO.
The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4-18, and have five different age divisions. Daryann will be competing in the Jr. Pre-Teen age division.
Daryann Whitener’s activities include church, Good News Club, and 4-H. She also enjoys playing volleyball and softball, reading and math, and spending time with family and friends. Her sponsors are Keith and Karen Whitener, Deanna Cook, Robert Mace Jr., and Patrick and Cheryl Whitener.
