Peggy Bland named Health Services Director for Farmington Presbyterian Manor

Farmington – Peggy Bland has joined Farmington Presbyterian Manor as health services director, according to Executive Director Jane Hull. “I believe Peggy’s strong leadership and management experience will be an asset to our nursing department and management staff,” Hull said.

Bland received a registered nursing degree from Mineral Area College. She started her nursing career as a certified nursing assistant, then later became a licensed practical nurse and worked as a registered nurse at a skilled nursing facility in Farmington. The last six years she performed nursing duties in a management position, serving as director of medical surgical services at Jefferson Regional Medical Center and most recently at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center.

“I am pleased to be a part of this dedicated team of nurses,” said Bland. “I am excited about this new opportunity and am committed to the mission of the Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America. It is a privilege to care for our residents.”
