Crackown on DWI

Captain George E. Ridens, commanding officer, Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces that sometime during the month of May, troopers assigned to Troop E will conduct a DWI saturation within the Troop E area.  Troopers assigned to this special enforcement operation will patrol those highways where in the past a higher number of alcohol-related arrests and traffic crashes have occurred.

Captain Ridens said, “The impaired driver continues to be a major contributor to serious traffic crashes in Southeast Missouri.  Driving while intoxicated saturations are a part of the Patrol’s effort to remove intoxicated drivers from Missouri roadways.”
