Redfield’s Tina Cashion named Farmington’s Best Administrative Professional

A crowd of employees and customers gathered around as representatives of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce made their way into Farmington’s Redfield Collision Center recently carrying a basket overflowing with tissue paper and balloons.

The brigade arrived to tell Tina Cashion,office manager at Redfield Collision Center,that she was officiallynamed “Farmington’s Best Administrative Professional,” in honor of Administrative Professionals Day.

“I don’t know that I’ve ever been speechless,” Cashion said. “I’m just so surprised and honored that my teammates nominated me. I had no idea.”

The Farmington Chamber of Commerce invited business and community leaders to submit nominations for the recognition, and a committee was established to review nominations. That committee was comprised of administrative professionals who were not in the running for the award.

“Tina has been pivotal to the success of Redfield Collision Center, Farmington,” said Chuck Sevick, Redfield Collision Center operations manager.

“We are so excited for Tina,” said Kevin Thurman, chairman of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce board of directors. “Her colleagues were so passionate about her contributions to their team, and it’s our pleasure to present her the award.”

“Tina truly inspires, uplifts our spirits, and is one of the most important assets in our company as well as in the community,” said Tina Weber, Redfield Collision Center comptroller, in her nomination.

Cashion received a gift basket filled with items provided by local businesses, including: Botaniques on the Square, Hastings Creative Images, Insight Partners, Ivy & Twigs, JC Penney Salon, Krekeler Jewelers, Little Caesar’s Pizza, Long John Silver’s/A&W, Meineke, Massage Works, National Academy of Beauty Arts, Office Max, RadioShack, Show-Me Rent-To-Own, Sweetheart Chocolates, The Oasis Christian Bookstore, and The Tan Company.

The mission of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce is to foster business success, improve the economic environment and enhance the quality of life of the Farmington area and surrounding region. That mission is achieved through programs business development, advocacy, community betterment, leadership development and member services.
