FARMINGTON — Marjorie Frances Jaeger of Farmington passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the age of 93 years, 6 months, and 13 days. She was born on October 22, 1917, at Enderlin, ND, daughter of the late John Henning Carlson and Maude (Furtney) Carlson Myers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Carlson and a sister, Florence Rarick.
Marge was born and reared in Enderlin, ND where she graduated from high school in 1935. After high school she went to Fargo, ND where she was employed as a bookkeeper for J. C. Penney. In later years she moved to Paoli, PA where she worked as a supervisor for the Liquor Control Board of the State of Pennsylvania. On May 28, 1958 she married Blaine F. Jaeger who survives. During their marriage they lived in 12 states as well as England and Ireland. Marjorie and Blaine enjoyed traveling and sightseeing both in the United States and Europe. She will be remembered for her wonderful cooking skills and more specifically as one of the finalists in the Pillsbury Bake Off contest in 1966. In 1980 Marge and Blaine moved to Town and Country where she raised miniature poodles and had a grooming business. Marge loved her many dogs throughout the years and she leaves behind her beloved standard poodle, “Buffy”. She was a faithful member of the Open Arms Full Gospel Church of Desloge, Missouri where she attended regularly up until her illness.
In addition to her beloved husband, Marge leaves behind her brother, John Carlson of the State of California, and a host of nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
