Fire marshal investigates blaze

BONNE TERRE – The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s office is determining what caused a small fire at a home on D Street Sunday night.

Bonne Terre Fire Chief Chris Thurman said there was quite a bit of smoke and heat damage to the room the fire originated in. The house was located at 107 D Street.

The owner of the house was at home at the time but no one was injured.

Assisting Bonne Terre were Desloge, Lake Timberline and Terre Du Lac fire departments.
