Alma Lee Whitener
Alma Lee Whitener, 70, of Matthews, Missouri (formerly of Fredericktown) died, May 17, 2011 at the Sells Rest Home in Matthews.
She was born June 8, 1940 in Fredericktown, Missouri, a daughter of Elmer and Lena (Wray) Whitener.
Her parents and one sister, Freda Hale preceded her in death.
She is survived by one sister, Lois Cole of St. Louis; two brothers, Harold Whitener and John Whitener, both of Fredericktown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Whitener was a graduate of Marquand High School and a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church near Fredericktown.
Services were held May 20, 2011 at Wilson Funeral Home with the Reverend Clyde Berry officiating. Burial was at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Fredericktown.
Pallbearers were: Mark Whitener, Steve Whitener, Taylor Whitener, MikeWhitener, Keith Cole and Tom Cole.
