North County graduation

North County’s graduation ceremony will be held Saturday.

The graduation will be held at 8 p.m. at the high school football fields. In case of inclement weather, however, it will be held at 6 p.m. at the Farmington Civic Center.

Principal John Crabtree hopes to be able to make that decision today based on the forecast. If not, an alert will be issued to parents and local media if it is moved to the Civic Center.

Overflow parking will be available at North County Primary Elementary in Bonne Terre. Shuttles will take people to and from the high school.

The class is one of the largest classes North County has had.

The class valedictorian is Brett Willette. Salutatorian is Sarah Halbert.

A chair will be set aside for their classmate, Josh Starks who died last year after an illness.
