Accident injures Farmington man
A Farmington man received minor injuries Tuesday when his 2008 Chevrolet HHR struck a median barrier in St. Francois County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Robert E. Sliger, 67, was northbound on U.S. 67 at 8:15 a.m. when he fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle went off the west side of the road and struck the median, .9 miles north of Route K.
Sliger, who had been wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center.
Damage to the HHR was listed as moderate
