Richard “Mike” Barron

Richard “Mike” Barron, 63, of Fredericktown, Missouri (formerly of Annapolis, Missouri) died, May 24, 2011 at his daughter’s home in Fredericktown.

He was born  September 16, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Porter and Jessie (Plake) Barron. 

On December 13, 1974 in East St. Louis, Illinois he was united in marriage to Dianne Frentzel, she survives in Fredericktown.

Mr. Barron is also survived by  three daughters, Linda Montgomery of Fredericktown, Barbara Mehl and Jackie Zellers both of St. Louis; one son, Larry Forister of St. Joseph, Missouri; one brother, Tom Barron of Barnhart, Missouri; one sister, Dianna of Fredericktown; and nine grandchildren.

Mr. Barron was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed traveling. His hobbies were trains and planes.  

Services were held May 27, 2011 at Wilson Funeral Home. Burial was at the Shoemaker Cemetery in the Jewett Community with full military honors.   Condolences may be left at this website.
