Dave Hagan

BONNE TERRE – Melvin David “Dave” Hagan, 63, of Bonne Terre passed away June 18, 2011, at Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre. He was born November 22, 1947, in St. Louis. Dave proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an independent Christian and enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, F. Melvin and Francis (Schultz) Hagan.

Dave is survived by his wife Bev (McMillen) Hagan of Bonne Terre; three daughters, Misty (Jim) Stone, Wendy (Ray) Zayas and Dawn (Kerri) Rosener all of Bonne Terre; nine grandchildren, Mandy (Tommy) Doss, Melody Stone, Miranda Stone, Ray Zayas, Jr., Justin David Zayas, Mariah Zayas, Marissa Rosener, Joshua Rosener and Jacob Rosener; two great-grandchildren, Grace and Micah who was born June 18, 2011, the day of Dave’s passing.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Royce LaMarr officiating. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials may be made to the ALS Foundation.
