First Friday Art Opening at The Gallery July 1st

The Madison County Chamber of Commerce and Fredericktown Revitalization Initiative will be hosting the First Friday Art Opening of The Gallery: Art and Welcome Center 6-9 p.m., July 1, at 120 West Main, above the Chamber office.

The opening will feature new art from local artists Robert Davis, Dillon Dyer, and Jared Mendoza. Davis’ work will feature stained glass while Mendoza’s and Dyer’s work consists primarily of oil paintings.  Still on display from previous month’s opening: Jami Knight, Abi Borrego, John DeBold, Charla Francis, Bill Knight, Corey Warner, Denny Henke, Lesley Ann Martin, Ruth Ann Skaggs, Sabrina Wagganer and  Aime Oberheim.

The Gallery hosts First Friday art openings showcasing local artists as well as poetry readings, story telling, music and potlucks. Stop by on Friday July 1 from 6-9 p.m. and see what a community can accomplish when they work together!

New open hours for The Gallery are: Tuesdays and Fridays, 2-6 p.m.; and Thursdays and Saturdays, 6-9 p.m.
