Bonne Terre has citywide yard sale in August

BONNE TERRE — The Bonne Terre City Wide Yard Sale will be held Aug. 5-6.

The cost to participate is $5. The permit must be purchased at city hall.

This year, permit holders will receive a sign they will need to display in their yard. In the past few years, the city has had problems with people participating who had not paid the $5 permit fee.

Permits need to be purchased by Aug. 2 to get on the list. Residents can pick up the list of yard sale locations from city hall on Aug. 4.

Proceeds of the yard sale will go to the fund to purchase a second storm warning siren. The yard sale is sponsored by the Bonne Terre Parks and Recreation Department.

This yard sale does not count toward the number of yard sales the city allows a person to have each year.
