Lady Cats win two over South Iron

FREDERICKTOWN — The Fredericktown Lady Cats improved their early record to 2-1 with a two game win over the South Iron Lady Panthers 25-16, 25-13.

Cortney Hampton led Fredericktown in kills with four as the Lady Cats relied heavily on their defensive play. Chelsea McDowell was serve receive and also dig leader with nine of each. The Lady Cats scored seven points on both the serves of Jessica Wilkerson and Terra Helm. The Lady Cats will travel to Clearwater on Tuesday.
