Joe Matkin

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS — Joe Matkin, 78, of Rock Island, Illinois departed this life September 5, 2011.

He was born March 24, 1933 at Knob Lick, Missouri a son of Ben and Bula (Allen) Matkin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Allen Matkin; and wives Ernestine and Sarah.

He is survived his sister, Mary (Larry) Boothby of Fredericktown, Missouri; and one niece, Lavon Boothby of Portland, Oregon.

Burial was at Hannibal, Missouri.
