Pictorial History Book Deadline Extended to Oct. 31

Due to the tremendous response, the deadline to submit photos for the upcoming Pictorial History of Madison County book has been extended to Oct. 31. 

Hundreds of photos have been submitted and many books sold.  We are still looking for photos of churches, businesses, civic groups, schools and agriculture related activities.

Scheduled photo scanning dates are September 10th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and September 20th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. prior to the regular monthly Historical Society meeting.  Scanning will be available at the Historic Madison Jail Museum at 122 North Main Street.  Book purchases may be completed at this time as well.
