Maggie Helvey
BISMARCK — Maggie Dora Helvey, 92, formerly of Bismarck passed away on September 27, 2011 in Desloge. She was the daughter of the late George and Mamie Gahr Earls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Helvey, daughter Betty Helvey, two brothers, one sisters.
She is survived by one stepson, Alan Helvey of Texas; three brothers, Johnie Earls, George Earls both of Los Angeles, California, Walter Earls (Marian) of Rolla; two grandchildren, Kenneth and Mike Helvey; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Al and Gladys Meador of Bismarck; Wayne and Margie Taylor of Irondale.
She was a lifelong member of the Bismarck First Baptist Church and a worker for the Bismarck Senior Center.
Visitation will be Thursday morning, October 6, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Shipman Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Shipman Chapel with Pastor Matt Sheckles. Internment will be in the Jefferson Barracks Cemetery.
