‘Pole Adoption’ for Holiday Season

The holiday season is quickly approaching. Would you like to adopt a pole to decorate for the holiday season? The Community Beautification Committee is once again sponsoring a “Pole Adoption” around the Court Square and Main Streets.

All individuals, organizations, and commercial enterprises are invited to participate. Few restrictions allow for maximum creativity and artistic expression–use your imagination and skills to create your unique holiday display. You will enjoy seeing your own contribution to decorating the community for the holiday season.

Contact 783-8592 to adopt your pole and learn details. Decorations can begin after Thanksgiving and must be removed by January 6th.

P.S.: The “Red Hat Society Lady” was found and returned. Hopefully she will return to the Square for the holidays once again. For information on pole adoption and guidelines please call 783-8592.
