Potosi Southern Baptist hosts community Thanksgiving
WASHINGTON COUNTY – Potosi Ministerial Alliance has announced the annual Community Thanksgiving service at Potosi Southern Baptist Church on Highway 8 at the west edge of town.
The service is held annually on the Monday before Thanksgiving. All congregations are invited and welcome to attend the seasonal service which begins at 7 p.m. Nov. 21.
A free will love offering will be received at the service and used to help those in need in the Potosi community.
The speaker is Rev. Keith King, Pastor, Life Church, Potosi.
Refreshments and fellowship follows the service in the Christian Life Center.
The Community Choir practice is 8 p.m. Nov. 20 at Potosi Southern Baptist and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at the same location.
Potosi High School Choir will perform. Bob Sifford and Beverly McColloch will perform a duet.
All pastors of Washington County are invited to discuss current events in the county and discuss how to better serve the community at 8:30 a.m. the first Tuesday of each month at Family Steak House.
